I'm alive! Seriously.

With a summer off after my first year of University [Major in Theatre, Minor in History], perhaps I will have time to write. Especially if job-hunting continues to fail.

I really should try to get back into it...

I've begun working my way through the complete collection of 20 Aubrey/Maturin novels by Patrick O'Brian. I've completed the first book, Master and Commander, which was made into a film a few years back [this seems to be the only way by which people recognize the works]. I find it an interesting way of writing...

My father has been forcing himself to draw every day, and is essentially re-learning the skill, having not drawn in about 6 years, and having had a minor stroke.. he had to relearn how to write, being left handed.

I shall have to acquire a nice little book to keep with me. Perhaps it shall be my task while taking public transit

New goal: Write at least three poems a week, even if they suck.
